"Warranty support left a bad impression"
I tried getting warranty help for my KLYMIT pad the whole experience was frustrating. The replies were slow, and the tone felt more like they were looking for reasons to push me off than actually help. They kept asking for more details, but it never really went anywhere and I didn’t get a real fix. Disappointing, and I don’t see myself buying from them again.

I really wanted to like this, but it just doesn’t pack down small enough for me. It takes up way too much space in my bag, so I don’t feel like it’s worth bringing along. I also reached out with a question and the email replies felt like they were written by a robot, which didn’t help the experience

I bought a klymit pad thinking it would handle colder nights better, but the insulation just didn’t come through for me. I could feel the cold coming up from the ground pretty much all night, and you know how miserable it gets when you can’t warm up enough to sleep. It might be okay for summer trips, but I wouldn’t count on it for cooler weather. For the price, I was disappointed.

"Started falling apart quickly"
I only used this pad on maybe two trips, and it already seems like the seams are leaking. I was hoping it would hold up better, but it kind of fell apart way sooner than I expected.

"Customer service really didn’t help at all"
I had a bad experience with Klymit support. I emailed them about a problem and it took way too long to get an actual response. Like, way too long. And when they finally did reply, it felt like they hadn’t even read what I sent. They just kept sending the same basic answers over and over, no real solution, no clear next step, nothing helpful. I kept explaining the issue and they kept not really addressing it. Super frustrating. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from them again.

I was disappointed with this sleeping pad. It started leaking after only a few trips, and I really wasn’t hard on it. I wasn’t dragging it over rocks, tossing it around camp, using it on rough ground, letting the dog climb all over it, or anything like that. Just normal camping use. For the price, I expected it to last a lot longer than a couple weekends out. It’s super annoying to wake up half on the ground because it slowly deflated overnight

"Setup was way more work than it should’ve been"
Getting this pad set up was a hassle. After a long day of hiking, the last thing I wanted was to mess around with a valve that felt confusing and made me think I was doing something wrong. The instructions weren’t much help either, so it ended up feeling like extra work when I just wanted to lay down and relax

"Wanted to like it, but it’s such a hassle to pack"
I’ve always had a soft spot for Klymit gear, so I really wanted this pad to work out. But inflating it takes way more effort than I expected, and deflating it is somehow even more annoying. I feel like I’m fighting it every time trying to squeeze all the air out, and it never seems to fold back into the bag the way it came. Maybe I’m just impatient, but for me it ended up being more hassle than it’s worth.

"Just not comfy enough for me??"
I liked that the pad packs down small, but I kept waking up with sore hips?? It might be fine for a quick overnight or short trip, but for me it just wasn’t comfortable enough.
